Summer 2019
No wishing to rush any ones life away and forward planning is the best planning, there are many trips planned for next year 2018... So with this dates firmly placed I would like to know if anybody would be ready to plan a trip for 2019.
With the success of the Scandinavian trip back in 2011 it has been suggested that we go back again, but this time go further North in to Norway and then, maybe, in to Finland.
As, at the moment there is not a direct boat to Denmark. But there are a couple of options and that's a drive to Holland then ferry, or drive the complete distance or from the UK, two boats, UK/Holland and Holland/Denmark. It doesn't matter which way, there will be an overnight somewhere enroute.
If there is enough Interest then Diane and myself will start to look in to the easier option and then plan something.
I am sure that the Danes and the Norwegians would both be happy to help again to make for an exceptional touring holiday again.

Possibly, provided there is plenty of time to see things and not just drive ,,,
Re: Summer 2019
Would love to go again and take more time over it. July was good last time. I think you need to avoid September which seems to be overcrowded with overseas trips.

If you come to Sweden, be sure to drop by the Air Force Museum near Linköping. (200 kms South from Stockholm.)
There's a very large Classic Car gathering on Thursday evenings in the summer.
Tonight's theme was British Cars.
There were no Jensens!

London to Helsinki = 1,471 miles.
Denmark is quite small.
Only 875 people live there.
And of them, 849 live in wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen.

The distance from London to Helsinki is very useful to know if you are trying to get to Linköping as you suggest. Interestingly my Google maps tells me it is 1,491 miles.

Thank you I know Sweden has the biggest collection of US cars outside the US, but we didn't see that many when we went last time.
