The Swiss Club would like to announce our long overdue International Meet we will be holding on Oct. 4th-8th in 2018. The prelimininary programme is the following:

Thursday, Oct 4th

Arrival in Mulhouse, France in the late afternoon. Dinner and hotel. For those coming from the Northeast.

Friday, Oct 5th

Visit the Cité de l’Automobile, Collection Schlumpf, Mulhouse, in the morning. Drive to Morges in the afternoon (230km, 3hr drive). Dinner and hotel in Morges.

Saturday, Oct 6th

Attendance of the British Car Meet in Morges on the Lake of Geneva, where we will be presenting our cars. Dinner and hotel in Morges. The meet in Morges in one of the two British Car meets here in Switzerland. The location in the town and in the park, directly on the shores of the Lake Geneva is spectacular. According to the organizers over 1’000 cars and motorcycles attend. Cleaning and polishing our cars is not required, but equally not forbidden.

Sunday, Oct 7th

What would a visit to Switzerland be, without the alps? We head up into the mountains towards the Grimselpass, where we will be spending the night. The Grimsel is said to be (according to my wife) one of the most spectacular passes we have. The programme for Sunday afternoon and Monday will be announced, and may also depend on the weather. Besides the fantastic roads and breathtaking scenery there are quite a few ideas pending where we could be taking you. The Grimselpass is right next to the Furka, where Goldfinger was filmed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RdK51Igeqc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), also highly recommended.

You are of course welcome to join us just for a part of the programme. Hotel accomodation and choice of restaurant will largely depend on the number of people attending, so we are asking that those interested to please let us know- by PM or mail (office@jcc.ch). We very much look forward to having you here, and hope many will attend!

Indeed, you're the one that got us into all this trouble on Oct 6th 2016! You're already down in our list as

probably, hopefully.. (how dare he not show up)

Ok, the US and the continent within a few weeks is ambitious.

PS It'll be worth the effort!

Sounds good to me. I seem to remember there is also a railway museum in Mulhouse - always an attraction for the Jensen owner! Please can you put me on the list.

The railway museum is just as spectacular if not more so than the Schlumpf collection, I have heard.
The Schlumpf collection contains the very best cars France has ever produced and then some. The number of Bugatti's is staggering. However you will need at least a full day to take it all in. An afternoon will simply not do. When we were there years ago we were first in and last out and still missed a lot. We also had liked to visit the Railway Museum, but as Anne Marie's name is Murphy, the museum was closed.
