Most definetly- you will love the roads. having said that I've never had the pleasure of driving a Healey, but great fun also with an Interceptor or a C-V8. Now it's winter here, but the sky is blue, the roads are dry. Nonetheless the C-V8 has to stay in the garage- they've salted the roads. Drives me crazy.

Felix, any idea about the hotel in Mulhouse yet?
Hans Harting (C-V8 III, LHD) and I (J-H II) are thinking very hard of joining you at the International weekend.

Hi Peter, a delight and an honour to have you and Jackie here! You're not late at all. We have our itinerary with the costs pretty much together and we will post these soon.

Currently (we think) that there will be 50-60 cars/parties attending in Morges, but we have new parties continuously contacting us. The hotel on Grimsel has a limited number if rooms, if we exceed that we will ask a 2nd hotel to open for us- they are usually closed Sunday/Monday.

Kees- we'd love to have you and Hans (say hi) here. Michi (Mike in English) is in charge of the organization. Best get in contact with him if there is any coordination between our two clubs. His mail is coordination@jcc.ch (cc me on office@jcc.ch). He is I think planning for us to stay at the Apparthotel in Mulhouse. I'd love to join you in Holland the weekend before, but I'm not sure at the moment if I can take the time off.

Best, Felix

Felix - just to confirm my email to you when we were comparing our C-V8s a few weeks ago - I will be back in Europe for the Swiss Rally!

Laura and I will fly from Croatia and join the Rally from midday Sat 6 October for the rest of the Rally - so please book us in - we need one double room for Sat night and onwards

Is there a form to fill in?

Sadly we will not be in a Jensen - too far to bring one of mine from Sydney!

All the best

Here you go; only 18,300km. You should be able to do that in 5 weeks! (not sure about the bit between Darwin and Singapore!)

On what basis did you choose the route? Fastest, most scenic, least dangerous, least petrol consumption, most kurvenreich (I don't know what that is in english- most winding?) ?

Tony! Happy that Laura and you will be joining us. As I mentioned there will be plenty of cars and plenty of spare seats available so you probably won't be needing a rental. And you're welcome to take my C-V8 up and down the mountain a few times, it would really be a shame if you came all the way and didn't get to drive the pass.

"kurvenreich" sounds like "most rich in curves" - see, almost English after all!

Felix, google maps chose the route. I believe they calculate the quickest

Merry Christmas everyone! Chris PMed to say that he‘d like to join us and if we were booked out. We aren‘t!

Details have gone out by mail to those who have shown interest. Some mails we did not have. We’ll post the details here in January.

Nigel, thanks for your mail! We‘d love to have more of the French members here and we‘ll get back to you as soon as possible (Christmas!). Tony also, we‘ll be happy to give you a couple of suggestions where to head to after the meet.

Happy holidays from the alps! Felix
