That's interesting.
So Tony Marshall was a singer as well as working for Jensen?
Amazing.

They may need a visa to enter Europe, I mean the continent, by then?

27 member states?
Not countries?
Regions.
"Regions in the European Union - Nomenclature of territorial units for statistics - NUTS 2010/EU-27
This document presents the current NUTS nomenclature, which subdivides the territory of the European Union into 97 regions at NUTS level 1,270 at NUTS level 2 and 1,294 at NUTS level 3. The NUTS is the official division of the EU for regional statistics. The regional breakdown can be visualised on maps, country by country."

Many people I know- we are also not in the EU (I'm not applauding the decision)- have more than one passport. Though preferably not from the US (nothing to do with the current administration), it's too expensive. Not me though, I'm stuck here. Probably in two or three generations most will have several passports.

From the WSJ:
"The U.S. is the only country that taxes its citizens on their world-wide income, no matter where they live.
OK, there’s also Eritrea. It imposes what is derisively termed a “diaspora tax” on its citizens.
Otherwise, though, the basic rule is that countries impose their taxes on individuals based on their residency, not their citizenship."

Felix, you are not 'stuck' anywhere.
You have the resources to obtain a retirement or residence visa in many countries, but why would you want to leave Switzerland when you have so many mountains and cowbells around you? :)

Income tax. But there is a non-taxable allowance for overseas residents. I think that basically, the IRS looks at how much tax you would have paid in the USA, how much you paid in your present country, and if US tax is higher, they demand the difference.
Inheritance tax allowance in USA is much higher than in the UK.

So, are you going to be joining us in Saxony?

You're of course right, I'm not stuck here. I left when I was 18 and chose to come back after 4 years abroad.

Any idea if it would fit in the rear seats of an Interceptor III in its box?
If so, I should be able to.
