Walton Bridge Breakfast Club

Post by ajc9415 »

If you're around London or Surrey why not pop in to the Walton Bridge Breakfast Club tomorrow? I'm planning on heading down there. Usually a good mix of classics. See the blurb from the website below:
"It certainly does feel like Winter (and Christmas!) are now en route so with that it is time to announce the winter Walton Bridge Breakfast Club meeting. The date for the next WBBC meet is Sunday the 4th of December and, as usual it will all kick off at Walton Bridge from 08:00hrs so please do get an early night (people have said it's a tad early but it wouldn't be a breakfast meet if it was later)! The same great mix of classic, exotic and interesting forms of vehicular transport are more than welcome to come along and enjoy the WBBC and have a tremendous morning by the glorious, stately River Thames... So please ensure your motors are going to be match fit and buffed up for Sunday the 4th of December as I would dearly like to see you at the winter Walton Bridge Breakfast Club meeting... Now, get that jotted down in your diary right away and please do spread the word far and wide and let everyone know that the Walton Bridge Breakfast Club is back again! "

There's another Walton Bridge Breakfast Club this Sunday 26th February (tomorrow) if anyone fancies it. I'm planning on going along. It's just adjacent to Walton Bridge. When you're approaching the bridge from the south you take the turning on the left just before you go over the bridge.

Cloudy is OK. Rain is the problem as there isn't any shelter (from rain).

Thanks for posting the pictures and nice to meet you today. Sadly after getting home I turned the car off on my drive and now it won't start! But good to see all the cars this morning.

Funnily enough the same thing happened to me on Friday Adrian... the new 6 month old pertrol pump I bought failed  , I did rush to put a new one last night ready to come today... but it was raining here this morning in Redhill so I took the "Rain Cheque" .. Petrol pumps should last for years.. not 6 month and 400miles .... |Probably chinese
The Cars looked great there .. looked dry too :?

As it’s raining here I’m guessing this is a no go, will be at the next one in Feb!

Good Morning SamImage
Yes, sad about the weatherImage
GaryC said it would be really good weather today so when I see himImage
I don't like going out driving powerful rear wheel drive cars in the rain and then eating and talking standing in the rainImage... So I'm outImage
Hopefully next time Sam or something in between ayeImage
