Kev, real shame your not on this one. Would love to do a tour with you, hopefully get on the same one at some point next year. I haven't let you down though, changed my rear diff seal today and detailed everything around it .Also referenced a photo of yours regarding the breather hole on the drive shaft

Hi John,

I and my wife will be at the JOC gathering in Bude on Sunday 8 October and wondered if we are able to join your party at Clovelly.

I wondered what sort of time you are planning to get there and when you expect to leave. Normally we have Sunday lunch at our hotel and then have the afternoon free, but can always skip the lunch in the hotel if it makes more sense.

Any details you can give regarding your plans for Sunday would be much appreciated.

We are arriving at Clovelly around 11am.

The cars will be on display in an allocated area and we will get a group discount if one ticket

for all is purchased.

I have booked the New Inn , Clovelly for a Cream Tea @ 2.30pm.

Thanks for the reply.

I have looked at the weather forecast and at the moment it is showing light rain for Sunday. I don't really fancy wandering round Clovelly in the wet, but the weather could improve between now and then.

Would it be OK if I contacted you on Saturday to let you know if we are coming or not and if so it would it be OK to contact you by phone (I've got your number from the magazine)?

Back from an excellent weekend , meeting friends old and new..

Thanks to Chris & Rose Roberts for suggesting the Commodore Hotel , Instow.

Everyone was impressed with the facilities and service from James and his staff.

A quick breakdown of the tour.

Friday - Arrival @ Commodore Hotel / Complimentary Prosecco / 3 Course meal

Saturday - Drive out - Ilfracombe coffee stop & Damien Hirst statue
Lynton & Lynmouth Railway display (free travel)
Buffet @ Ancient Mariner , Lynton
Valley of Rocks - walk

Sunday - Visit to Clovelly village with cars displayed in visitors car park
Meet with JOC Thames Valley on annual autumn break
Devon Cream Tea at New Inn , Clovelly.

We were given permission to park on the entrance to the famous Lynton & Lymouth Cliff Railway.

Opened in 1888 it is powered by water taken from the river Lyn.

Everyone had complimentary travel which was ideal with the buffet lunch being at the bottom!

What a fantastic weekend.
Thanks John for organising and anyone else involved.
Hotel was first class with first class staff.
Great group of Jensen folk on the tour, loved chatting to everyone.
Drove home on the A39 down Porlock Hill. I should have some great GoPro video from that.

Myself and christine can only thanks to jonathan and company for a memorable weekend in devon great people great cars fantastic hotel its not very often i get to go to a jensen event in a jensen on this occasion i was thrilled to drive a jensen healey i purchased recently and so glad i made the trip and how great the healey really his it brought smiles to my face driving down the M5 with the top down covering 520 miles happy days

What a lovely looking weekend I missed there!! ... Great to see Brooksie down there too.... The places you visited looked stunning... I really wished I'd gone... You should have nagged me Andy Pandie!! .... Someone else Nagg me next time please!!
