Nice to see two cars out for their inaugural runs after twenty off the road. Ray's C-V8 & Kevin's JH.

Looks great. Is (was) this a Jensen-only (JOC sponsored) event?

Plus I am impressed with the Essex girls!

I'm sorry I didn't go now, I have never even seen a photo of Ray's C-V8 and now I find I missed its first outing (I went to a local show at a garden centre in Knockholt, it was invitation only after previous open to all shows got out of hand but when we arrived at the garden centre the staff didn't know there was a show on as their management hadn't told anyone - and then only 30 cars turned up when we had been told there were going to be 50+).

Regards

John

If you book the Ace well in advance, they will reserve the car park for you. There are small sections for the bikers and for other makes of car, and the guy on the gate only lets the featured car make in. During busy times when there are mixed car makes, I think you can ask if your model can have the featured spot lined up in front of the cafe - or maybe Jensens just turn up really early to bag the best spots!

What doesn't show is that the caff is in a very built up, slightly scruffy, industrialised area. This is ideal as it cuts down on complaints form outraged neighbours when things get noisy!

1 lady owner means that the clutch is shagged, brakes need replacing,no oil in it and the water level will be low on the cooling and windscreen washer. Surprised its managed a hefty 25 miles.
