Devon & Cornwall Tour Fri 25th - Sun 27th September 2015

Goodies turned up from uncle Sam today so the SPecial one is ready for a day out (well I put 100 miles on it this evening to bed it in, so it now has passed 70k).

a trial run around the tip of Cornwall...We were thinking around 75 miles and wondered what the thoughts of members were?

75 miles seems good to me, but depends on if you are planning stop-offs, breaks etc. Some may want longer - perhaps you could plan to end at a point where people have the option either to go straight back to the hotel or take a longer route back as an option? ..Looking forward to the trip - and will consider the Minack evening too.

We've done the run out today, there is a lot of options for variation / extending the route but don't forget we are traveling "Cornish" miles and they are longer.

Idea of attractions in the wild west, the old heap keeps getting in the way.

After yesterdays blast around Wild West Cornwall we have sorted out the following :

1. Hotel

2. Route for Saturday's drive out. (Approx 70 miles)

3. Coffee & Lunch stops.

4. Petrol Stations (Shell-Vmax)

5. A couple of good local attractions.

I have reserved 4 more as I feel 20 cars is about the limit.

Well spotted that man. Just an example of one of the many places we won't be visiting on the tour

Note also the mine buildings that are marked as Levant are actually the Crowns at Botalack mine
