Thanks Colin
But did not have a great deal to do with this one.
Although I have to say it was a great weekend.
And a big big thank you to all that came and made it what it was.

Many thanks to one and all who made this, our 4th Annual Autumn Weekend, such a great success.
Fine weather,a wonderful hotel and the best company anyone could wish for, all went to make this years event probably our best yet.
To all those who travelled from far and wide, our appreciation is boundless. We just put the thing together, you make it the success it always is.
I'm ready for next year already
All the best,
Mark & Brendan

Re: Whitby. Yorkshire Weekend.
The weather was fantastic - some rain during the drive up from Birmingham, some rain overnight on Saturday but beautiful for the rest of the time.
That is until I was driving south past Nottingham and then it rained the rest of the way home!
Great company, a lovely meal on Friday night and a superb drive out (70 miles or so) on the Saturday through some spectacular scenery and the lovely town of Helmsley.
Sunday morning's visit to Robin Hood's Bay was the icing on the cake before heading south again.
Great company as usual and apart from a slightly thick head on Sunday morning, a great weekend!
Thanks for those who helped to organise it and planned the drive out

Re: Whitby. Yorkshire Weekend.
Mark, thank you so much for organising such a treat for us. North Yorkshire is amazing and to my mind beats the Lake District so am delighted the hotel is re-booked for next year. We had a lovely run homewards cross country with the hood down - and a clear (colder but still dry) hood-up run down the M65,6,56 and 53. Today our road has become a ford and I cant help wondering what all those dry fording places on the scenic run are like now! By the way I'm sure we've been to 5, not 4, of your masterpieces plus the weekend at Goathland that Simon and Alison set up.

One thing I really would like to make clear. All though we title our annual bash,'The Yorkshire Area Autumn Weekend',its only by way of description.Everyone is invited where ever you hail from, with a Jensen or not.Makes no difference to me and Brenden. We dont do 'Cliques' either.New visiter or old stalwart, you all get treated the same,ONE OF THE GANG!!!
BOOK NOW FOR NEXT YEAR IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN IN THE SHINANIGANS

Hi Mark.
We had such a great time that we have also already booked for next year.
Even though we got there late we really did receive a very warm welcome from everyone so it was well worth the effort to travel the distance, once we got through Lincoln it was easy driving just over 4 hours.
For anyone who hasn't been, it should be on your 'To Do' list.

Re: Whitby. Yorkshire Weekend.
Well what can i say......having lost my car to Jane on the drive up to Whitby, we didnt even get to check into the hotel, but we managed to arrive just in time to join the convoy, between Darren and Zak, just as they were leaving for the drive to Helmsley, and the weather couldnt have been better! Matched only by the company .
I finally got a chance to drive on the return to the hotel, which took in some breathtaking scenery, and a photoshoot opotunity conducted by Mark (And that sheep)
On our return we checked in, and were shown to our room which was spectacular, as was the hotel. We then headed out for a drive down into Whitby town for a wander around before returning for our evening meal, which was top class, second only to the evenings entertainment which consisted of a surprise hen party being thrown for Jane (We have only been married for 23 years! ) so a huge thank you to Collin & Diane for the flowers and the party
Drinks and socialising in the bar afterwards with friends, old and new, was the perfect end to a fantastic day!
A BIG thank you to Mark and Brendan for organising this, our first autumn weekend, of many hopefuly, as we are booking for next year tomorrow
Chris & Jane.

Another vote of thanks to the (multi-ethnic) organisers of the weekend. Gill and I had a superb time and have booked in for next year already.
Whisky with your porridge? Do we really have to wait until next year.

Thanks from me and Sharmain (Michelle) to the organisers,a great venue, great company, great cars, Mark even fixed the weather. The drive home on Monday was very wet all the way but it was worth it . Booked for next year before we left.

Appologies to Keith. He was quite right, this last weekend was indeed no.5 out of 6.I completely forgot our first 'epic' to Beamish.I put this oversight purely and simply down to advancing years Cant believe where the years go.Anyway, heres to 'Bash' no. 6

Great fun, brilliant company, fabulous scenery, amazing roads and obviously the best cars.
Thats all we have heard all week. The hangovers should be cured by now so where is the proof ?
One solitary photo is not enough to satisfy all us poor members who had to stay at home
Glad it went well and maybe next year.
