FF # 284 My other Jensen
Its been a while since I bought her, and I as I'm sure some of you are aware found it difficult to obtain a chassis leg / inner wing..
( I already have a Jensen factory Outer Wing & Front Panel )
So I had one made!!! Ron Everitt Clay made the chassis leg & innner wing pieces pieces to a very high standard.
At the same time I was finishing off the research on 284 for Ulrics last volume and found some suprising facts about my car..
It had been bought by a professional footballer as a present for his wife!! and that many years later she spent about 60k on restoration, hence all the shiny painted items you see on the photos are new!!!
Here it is at the moment, much straighter than when it was first aquired, but you can see the bent leg!!!
more progress photos after christmas

Hi Kieron,
You say that you've nearly all the parts to finish the old girl, are you still missing the bumper center section?. I've just found one in my magic shed, it's your's if you need it.
Dave.

I do like wolfrace alloys, what with chromed wires and the new S 17s we finally appear to have a few choices over rostyles and original GKNs without having to have them made. Gold class at the next international then Kieron ?

I'll have a look Dave, I think I may have one ( I know I have corners & a full set of rechromed overriders ), I will have a look today, id I havent i'll have it off yers
Hows the hand?
I favour new 17" GKN's & some big discs & calipers all round Shaun
this means I can have the engie tuned within an inch of its life if it'll stop on a sixpence!
NB its a good job Sara doesnt read the forum, as the Huge brakes / calipers / wheels is her new kitchen!!
Thanks Dave, looking forward to seeing FF13 pics, ( I'm sure you'll finish that quicker than I will 284!! )

The time has finally come for the FF to go in for rejigging / Assembley, so today, my mate & I removed the front suspension / engine / box / FF components from her..
to our relief, its not as bad as we remembered, and the pre accident condition was excellent

Now I can see them, it would appear that cable and wireless seem to restrict what files can be viewed or downloaded at peak times.
I can understand why, it all has to come down one satellite dish for the entire Falkland Islands!
Good luck with the rest of the work Kieron.
Regards,
Richard.
