New for old...

The ''old'' tank may be available if it may be of interest to anyone...

Just thought to add that the new tank is the same size as the original, a bit of an 'optical illusion' in the photo!

Superb work in aluminium by a local firm,

At the risk of being called a grumpy olds git....should not this whole thread be on "Member's Cars" ? It's taking up valuable space intended for "Idiots Only" and Keith's gentle life messages. I have actuallyt noticed a few dubious "My Car" ones creeping in

After some thought, moved to "Members' Cars" at the request of the "grumpy old git" below. A shadow link remains in the General section to make it easy to find again.

I appreciate there has been a change in emphasis since the first post when Wil was just saying "Hi" to the forum.

Hi,

After nearly 2 and a half years of restoration work my JI 111 is just about ready for Le Mans Classic!

This has been a major and rewarding project.

I hope to make it to the International pre Le Mans, and look forward to meeting folks,
