My Mk 2 Healey restoration is making good progress, some of you will know I’ve owned this car for a very long time (1999!) and due to other commitments and owning the blue Healey (sold some years ago) i never got around to sorting WEA!
Lockdown changed all that and I’ve been working on it since, finally finished renewing all the suspension and brakes and today it drove in and out of the garage under its own steam, and had its first wash in many years!
More to do to get it running properly and a number of other jobs to complete- but it’s looking good so far

Glad to see you've been using your time wisely Mark. Not wasting it on Morris Minor's

Re: Jensen Healey
Hi Dave
Not much progress on that to date, although I did obtain off eBay a 2nd overdrive unit (without the gearbox) that didn’t have the cracked casing end as the original. I also located a chap called John Roseby in Chester who rebuilds the gearbox’s and OD thought he needs my original gear box as well for the correct output shaft / top cover to make it fit? So unless I can obtain another gearbox with those I’ll have to wait until I can remove mine.
On a separate note I’ve ordered a 123 Distributor- should arrive any day- you have one on your car don’t you? Any tips for fitting?
Cheers
Mark

Re: Jensen Healey
Hi Mark
Yes I have one of the early 123 distributors it's been on the car over 13 years ( Aug 2007) I believe the new ones are plug in to tune. My one has 16 manual settings to play with but is on the setting it came with. When it was on the rolling road they did not think it needed changing. No problem fitting it's straight replacement and it has not leak engine oil which I've seen mention as a possible problem with other distributors.
I have a spare top cover but not an input shaft.
