nice new cooler :D

When you have reached the final shape for the bumper brackets, please can we have the measures and a drawing perhaps?
Remember to install the blinkers before final test fit, as they will interfere with the struts on the car unless of course you have alteady cut away to male room?

I will make a drawing and measurement of the brackets.

I have a couple of idees, the brackets that i Made now are more to look how everything fits together.

Maybe I will make the holder on the chassis of aluminium and the bumper bracket of metal.
The alu part is easy to change than a full metal one, and is a lot lighter.

Thanks a lot :D
I thought that you planned to make a one piece bracket going from the stuts to the metal bumper thereby omitting the original bracket from the metal bumper?

That was the idee at first, but a one piece will be hard to make.

Made a better bumper bracket today.

Bumper fits fine now, the bracket on the bumper is made of aluminium, the strip on the car mount is iron.
The iron one will support the bumper on the lower end.
I wander of the aluminum is strong enough, or that I will make iron version.

Stock wise there also is an bracket from the underside up to the car.

This way it’s also easy to fit the turn light, I give a yank on the car mounting.

Did some weighting of the US bumpers, each about 30kg. The car came up about 1,5 cm on the rear when I took the bumper off.

Also the EU brackets on the rear fit, but the holes on the body 1 of them does not match the VS holes, so I need to drill an hole in each bracket.

Also removing the US bumpers shorten the car by about 15 to 20 cm.
