The JH is in de garage, I would say it a funny car to drive, even with my 1.95 meter, the steering Wheel just fits between my legs 8)

The Engine has plenty of power, and feels ok.

The handling of the car could be better i think, i guess that there are some bussings at there end of there live. and the shocks feels that they are a bit aged to.

The Seats and carpet allready have been renewed.
The roof is also brandnew, and is Made of fabric.

I do not have much time these days, but could lay down my hands on some spare parts.

- rear bumper non US
- top of front bumper
- different parts to overhaul the front Axel, including spring and shock absorbers.

But I realased myself that working on the car, with my garage full with metric tools would not be easy.

So now i am looking englisch tools.

Indeed a nice JH5 ready for happy motoring for many years. Congratulations.

You will need to make two home made brackets for the metal front bumper. When you have done these, please can you post pictures and measurements on this forum for future use?

That will be great, thanks.

I learnt today that one possible solution could be to use the inner metal part from the US rubber bumper and then attach the metal bumper ‘on top’ of this. As this solution will add unnecessary weight I will personally prefer a set of brackets linking the metal bumper directly to the struts (or whatever the correct term is) of the car.

Bracket is Plaine and simpel and easy to reproduce.

Only rhe MIG machine has some problems welding, long time not used.
