Mk3 - S4 Upgrade in Devon

Post by Pymmie »

Met up with the owner of this Mk3 Series 4 upgrade today.

Originally Tangerine, Black with sheepskin inserts.

Went back to the factory in the 1980’s for S4 upgrade.

Just a few electrical jobs & AC to sort.

Hello John
That cars been in Cornwall/Devon area a while hasn't it
I'm sure I was thinking of looking at it about 4 years ago
I recognise the steering wheel the seats and engine combo

I thought it was nice then

Gary C, you have a good memory.

It was originally for sale Nr Truro , Cornwall.

Owner has had it retrimmed , lots of engine work and general

tidying plus a Webasto roof.

He will be joining us on the SW tour later in the year.

Grant,

The switches for the seats have been moved onto the

gearstick console. Heated & adjustable I think.

The engine was sorted by John Sleath some years back.

Think it’s over 100bhp above standard.
