Hi Guys another question. Since my rebuild I've noticed on the (very rare) occasions when the car has been caught in the rain a lot of water gathers in the channel around the bonnet at the front leading edge, and there are no drainage holes to let the water drain away. It's been years since I first bought the car and it has been totally restored since then, and I can't remember if there were drain holes originally - did Interceptors come with these?
You can see the car here:

Re: Another question...
Regarding drain holes, the answer is both yes and no. From the range of cars that I have seen and worked on over the years, the earlier ones had fewer drain holes than the latter ones (for example,my 74 J series has drain holes at the bottom of the doors, bottom of the sills, each end of the sills where the tires may flick road dirt / water / grime, front edge of bonnet, tailgate, lower front valence, etc.) - I guess you can call this product development!

Re: Another question...
Mine has on the panel in front of the radiator although I recently found there were none in the doors - there are now.

On my MK1 there are 3 holes. A centre one and two either side as per the pictures.

Re: Another question...
I think when new front panels get fitted by a 3rd party they forget to add the drain holes... from what I have seen over the years the pic that Mk1Stu has added is the correct place for drain holes
