Interceptor mk2 123/3708
Re: Interceptor mk2 123/3708
Rostyles!! The GKN Wheels look wrong on a MK2 - my 2 cent.
I own some of the odd Jensen
Re: Interceptor mk2 123/3708
Had a look at the rostyles today and I belive it is original because there was a stamp 6jk-15. If I understand it correct Rostyles where very common on British cars around the seventies but this size was only for Jensen Interceptor mk2? They seem to be very hard to find for sale.

Keep the GKNs for winter driving etc. They are not so rare and can probably be re-polished much more easily.

Fredrik,
My MK2 came from Sweden and it had alloys wheel on it but i also got the original rostyle wheels. It took me a while to clean, polish up and to hand paint them but I am so pleased with the look of them on the car. Some photo whilst I changed them over. However, I must admit that on a MK3 that the alloys with the rims stainless and shiny also looks the business.

Thanks for the pictures, have to say that I think both looks very good but if we can get the rostyles in good shape they will be used because they are original.
So its from Sweden (very nice car!), then maybe its on my list from the swedish JOC in the 80s.

Hi Superheat ,
What make are those 17 inch rostyles ?

They look great BTW !
Cheers , Harald

The rostyles came from the US, bought through a local agent, Elite Wheels. They were a little cagey who made them.
They enhance the car (my opinion) but still look period.
