To be honest Daniel... try to avoid buy any new panels.. for example doors etc ... they won't fit either, on a Interceptor always repair what you have as the original panels fit really well with good gaps and repairing them seems more work but in the long run, but, it isn't as the final results will be better with the originals.. good luck with your resto Daniel

Another Issue Is about the rostyle Wheels , just called a guy here in Hamburg who was known
In the past as a good Consulting Workshop for jensen but the First Impression was he Is Not really interested
In rare Cars and Jensen either , Typical for hamburg
I thought may be he knows somebody to make the Wheels Perfect but he Is very busy and just told
me polish them ...

Your wheels are the highly desirable 6J 15" Rostyle .... a lot of Interceptor MkII have them replaced by MkIII alloys but these wheels are perfect for your car and unique to the MkII Interceptor. In the photo's they look in good order and probably only need the chrome polishing and re-spraying the grey rims and black inserts

Thanks for the advice , I will order the same like Karan and grant have on their rostyles – the ones with the red badge in the center .
And I like the look of grants wheels but I think I will made it like Karan, cause their is so much chrome on the car and the black inserts with grey rims in combination with flag red is authumn .

Would be interesting which color code he used for the rims and the black inserts ? Did you really painted it by hand ?
Did you use a special Primer ?

Another question totally different , positioning of the windshield wipers. Is it correct the way it was? on the driver side one wiper goes over the frame from the front window ? May be a picture from a LHD car if someone has ?
