Re: my 2240/1838
Where's the rest of it?!
Restoring a car may not often be a good investment (better to just lock a car up in a garage and hope it shoots up in price) but, as Neil Diamond said, money talks, but it don't sing and it don't dance and it don't walk. And, especially, it doesn't roar or burble. Plus a nice Interceptor is easily saleable if you need money back in a hurry; try doing that with a new kitchen or a cruise.

"Now that chassis number is particularly interesting ‘cos it’s the one after the one before, which is the one after mine, not many people know that"

Lots of work, are you planning to this all yourself?
Only working half a day now.

The welding and paintwork I will have sorted locally as they are both set up for their trades and its quicker than me doing it. I stripped it down so only myself to blame when putting it back together.colin7673 wrote:Lots of work, are you planning to this all yourself?
All new suspension, brakes, fluid lines and loom ready to go back on. I gave myself 1 year to complete working along side my other builds and I think with every nut and bolt seized on this car I am going to need every part of 12 months

Re: my 2240/1838
Just a query with this car
No chassis number 2240/1838
There is a 2340/1838 but this is meant to be a Convertible
Is this the correct chassis number
Jim Smith 1639
Int 111 136/8791
