October weekend round Oulton Park on a wet track!
Apparently Genghis could be heard all round the circuit when powering up Clay Hill.

Nice one. I did a TVR track day there around 1995 which was brilliant!

Hello Steve
I was reading a book on Sunday evening with your car on the front cover and thought I had`nt seen a post on here from you in a while.
I was going to pm you a message asking if you knew your car when it was Brown was on the front of this book with a write up in the back about it.
If you haven't got a copy you can still pick them up on ebay /amazon
Its always nice to see how this car is getting on as you got in before me by a few days to buy it about 2 1/2 years ago from memory

Hi Gary It's doing very well thanks, you are correct with 2 and 1/2 years, I’ve had no major problems with the MK1 it starts first time every time and runs well. I've got the book along with a few others it features in and yes it makes an interesting read. There’s lots and lots of history with Genghis and plenty of information on where it’s been and what it has done in nearly 50 years. Regards Steve
