Hi Guys,

Thought i would share a few pictures of my respray i went to see my car today for the first time other than seeing pictures that the paint guy sent me, the car has not been polished yet but looked good and i am pleased with the the colour choice always a gamble until on the car. and what a lovely day to see the car i am looking forward to having the car back and enjoying days out with the family, they have a few jobs to complete full re trim and re assemble all parts and new hood to complete before i get the car back hopefully 4 weeks in time for the better weather,

Hi Guys,

Went up to see the car yesterday and the car is coming together nicely the main reason for the visits was to confirm the Tyre size for my new 17in wheels i took 1 225/55/17 and 1 235/50/17 as you can see they are very similar i wanted to make sure the 235 did not rub on full lock and they were fine so have decided 235-50-17 as they fill the arch out a little more,

Hopefully get the car back in 2/3 weeks all that is left to do is all the glass and seats and inside trim and bumpers then off for the final polish, MOT and road test then we can transport home just in time for the glorious summer we are going to have,

Regards,

Peter,

Hi Peter,
That looks spectacular. Very similar to my silver grey (or sterling grey) Mk 111. It should really sparkle in the sunlight.

Happy motoring,

That looks very smart.
Please excuse one comment, I can see one item that needs adjusting - the park position of the wipers. They should come to a rest on your car at the bottom of the screen to the left.

A small question, those black number plates actually do look very smart on the car with that colour scheme but originally that car would have had the white and yellow reflective plates. Are you permitted to use the older style plates with that year of registration?

I may be wrong but I think the plates are OK as they are now on a rolling forty years the same as the road tax
