Tachometer overhauled by Tim Ingle at Speedograph Richfield Ltd. The unit had recently developed a mind of its own and was giving erratic readings.

New 17 inch rims masked ready for painting in original grey/green. I have been advised that the car has better road manners with the 17inch rims and lower profile tyres. I intend preserving the original 15inch rims and Dunlop SP's for shows etc. whilst using the new rims for general use and touring.

During lock down discovered this damage to the drivers door whilst the car was garaged at home, i have not been able to able to establish the cause with any certainty but i have a partial admission from the wife. As a result the car was taken back into Finches where the door has been removed and taken to the body shop for repair. The body shop initially had supply problems with the lacquer and more recently matching the colour, I am hoping they can get an edge to edge match otherwise it gets more complicated.
