Just returned from the JOC visit to Morges Switzerland after a fabulous weekend at the invite of the Swiss Club. I covered approx 2040 miles over varying road types and speeds returning at worst 10.83 mpg and best 16.72 mpg. This was my first road trip after local shake down outings and apart from the new Summit thermostat housing leak(Fixed in France) and reconditioned steering rack issue "Toby" behaved faultlessly and was a credit to Finches who did the work

Thanks Kev, apart from the minor wobble on the way down the car and the weekend were a roaring success, fabulous scenery, accomodation,meals and company, regards to Nigel when you next speak, till the next time!

"Toby" experienced the Dark Arts of the Dyno today:

Maxed out at 141.3 mph (5,863rpm)

Best power run as below print out:

Flywheel = 393.0 BHP/5580rpm
Wheels = 318 bhp/4750rpm
Torque = 427.6 lbft/3929

Thanks Grant, It drove well on the recent Swiss outing but will benifit from getting the recon steering rack sorted which is in hand, i will ask the team about the comp ratio, i think it was close to 10

Hi Grant,
Spoken to the guys about the comp ratio and they confirmed it was close to 10:1

The car has been with Finches over winter having its fourth recon steering rack fitted, full service and fixing some minor snagging. This has been done in slow time and i should have it back in the next few weeks. I'm glad i wasn't approached to display at the NEC or the London Classic car show as it wouldn't have been available. I'm looking forward to using it this year, Grandparent duties permitting and we are booked in for the JOC Spring Weekend
