For sure, in my three years of custodianship i have driven "Toby" for less than ten minutes, which is the time it took me to drive from my home to the workshop.

Tailgate initial fit awaiting shimming of hinges to sort gaps, rubber seals and chrome embellishers. Another challenging job being sorted, apparently required four people to get it it fitted and the spring tension caused significant problems during that process.

Thanks Gary,
Not soon enough but getting there, it will be three years in May. Having only driven "Toby" for ten minutes i will not be in a position to make any comparison but Mark Rivron should be able to give me some idea as he lives in same postcode.

Hello Andrew
As Duncan says Marks isn't a quiet car and having been in it I can confirm that especially the exhaust....if yours isn't quieter than his you got problems :-)

You might find you spend most of the time driving with your windows down I know I do :D
Will it be finished for the international Regen normally have an.open day before then but I'm not sure if that is happening this year

I would be disappointed if it is not finished by the International Gary as i am planning to make the Sunday Concours day. We are in Gloucester that weekend for my daughter-in-laws birthday and i have been allowed out to play on the Sunday. If Rejen do sort something out i would also like to make that meet as i enjoyed the last one, hopefully this time driving "Toby" as apposed to my motorhome

It's been a while but the team have been busy doing the stuff that doesn't photograph well. Most of the time has been spent attending to the tailgate and we are now onto the sexy stuff with fitting trim, fettling switches etc. A word of caution if you are thinking of pasivating your tailgate springs, DON'T!!! the Zinc coating process makes them brittle as we found resulting in four replacements courtesy of Rejen and a second retrim to a section of the boot vinyl.

This is definitely going to be one of the best Mk3 Interceptors out there when it’s finished.

You can’t beat an Interceptor interior in tan either, the retrim looks superb.
