At last....

Post by ginger_dave »

Hi folks.

Well, after precisely 50 weeks and more wedge than I'd bargained for, 115/2798 arrived back from the restorers yesterday. I'm still smiling.

It's been a long and somewhat stressful road. Anyone thinking of buying a lashed-together classic car and doing it up, may I say prepare for a long wait, double your budget and prepare to lose hair. But also prepare to feel it was all worth it when she comes back.

She purrs like a kitten and, call me vain, attracts turned heads everywhere.

D.

I love the Mark 1 dashes, with the toggle switches.

Super resto.

Congrats.

Fantastic colour and interior combination.

Looks amazing.

Will you be at Gaydon next weekend?

Would love to see this in the metal.
