I’m not sure. I'm bit fatigued from this one. This thing kicked my ass.

If you had been in charge of Jensen design back in 1976, you could have changed history. The car is so much more attractive than standard it would surely have secured more sales, which might have been enough to keep the company going until the oil crisis passed.

I’d like that. The first thing I do is start yelling at all them. look what you made me go through 50 years from now.

I spent an immense amount of time on the doors. Getting the fit and finish just right. This is something I’ve gotten pretty good at however it still took probably a good hundred hours. This of course includes the frames with glass installation, outer seals and all the other stuff.

I would’ve never known or even thought to change the doorstops. But the drivers door kept/wasn’t staying open sometimes. After talking to Craig at Martin Robey, he sent me a rebuild kit. You can see the difference. Definitely if you’re working on a car and take the interior apart it’s worth the few bucks.

I was quite fortunate that my friend Mike who Is an auto Electrician was able to help me deal with all the interior wiring. Along with all the mods we did throughout the whole car. He swapped out the old style push pin fuses that are hidden up under the dash and above the glove box using modern fuses with easy access. We also switched out the door pins with the new ones that Craig has. Some of the subtle things like running ground wires from the doors through the wire harness then to the body. This way the door isn’t depending on the hinges to ground itself.

Sound
Each cars sound system is better than the next. And this one is tremendous. Tucked under the back ledge and bolted to some custom rails. Is a 12 inch sub with a passive radiator. Along with a 300 W amplifier. If you go back in the thread you’ll see the ledge has screen opening to allow the base to enter into the cab easier. Four main speakers along with two separate tweeters. I ended up using the retro sound radio that has Wi-Fi and hands-free and hid the mic up at the top of the A pillar.

The trunk/boot
Every part of the trunk/boot need to be re-made from scratch.

The original rear lens covers are made out of fiberglass and absolutely didn’t fit. So we ended up using a technique of mashing tinfoil over the areas we wanted and then fiberglass over the tinfoil mold.

I didn’t like the rear lock cover especially the part that the cable was exposed to unlatch it so I made a new one.
