CV8 Restoration Update

Post by Paul I »

For those who are interested - short video of the current progress on my CV8 restoration. I am really REALLY pleased with the quality of the work done on my Chassis.....

The 10mm holes on the underside are to enable us to Wax Fill the Box sections, before we seal it all up. This car should last another 50 years lol lol

Would love to think I might be on the road next year - but to be honest, I think its going to be a hard slog ! Whats another year or two amongst friends eh

Looks very good Paul. Who is doing the work? I was thinking that if whoever is doing the restoration wasn't a C-V8 specialist before they started they probably are now - but are they local to you? We could do with a south of England C-V8 specialist!

Paul,

That is looking magnificent - I'm about to embark on a project of similar magnitude in 2016 with my Mk2. What is your target date for getting JTE 716B back on the road?
