Final update for today.

I've decided that John / Graham get the bodywork part of this project because of the quality of their work. Andy Brookes will do the engine and tranny for the same reasons. My role is project management ( hopefully not much needed) and being a ferry pilot for various part / jobs that need doing.

This car will be great when finished, but above all else, it's got to stick to budget.

It would be very easy to say fix it, and hang the cost.
Trouble is, I won't commission work unless I can fund it.
So...this will be about the usual balancing act of Quality vs. Cost. vs Availability.
Timeframe....lets target a certain trip to Italy shall we, with a few months shakedown beforehand for good measure.

NOTE TO SELF.
Air con must work..! :|

Final objective is a top end car, that is no trailer queen, but is lightly modified to keep key originality, while tipping your hat to modernity.
Reliability, is key, and ensuring the very essence of this example of the final factory batch of Interceptors does all its older brothers and sisters proud.

Right, where's that cheque book.?

Your in safe hands with John and Graham, mine is the other Interceptor in their little emporium. The quality of work is fantastic and they talk you through everything so there are no surprises. Would heartily recommend them to anyone who needs some work done. Only wish I had met them 4 years ago when I started down the Jensen ownership path.

Like you, have taken council from Andy at Appleyards and without his honesty and practical options would have probably given up.

Look forward to meeting you down there one day soon.

Huge respect to John / graham for scrapeing the sealant off...by hand.

I went to see John and Graham yesterday and saw your car, they're doing a great job on it.

Do you know anything about the C-V8 they are working on. Is it going to be Welsh?
