Re: Jensen Healey
My rear valance was looking a bit frilly but now I had one off the spare car
I had patched the boot floor previously so while I'm here I may as well fit a better one.

Well I had a few minutes to spare this morning so I've ditched the radio in the centre consul.

Re: Jensen Healey
Rob Haydon donated his fire damaged bonnet to me. A little project to keep me busy in lock down.
I have now repaired the damage done by the fire brigade.

Re: Jensen Healey
A bit of cleaning today and I have a very good bonnet to work with.
Just one hole and a couple of little dents to deal with. The hole was originally lead filled and didn't survive the fire.

Re: Jensen Healey
Bit of progress on the bonnet but I don't really have the patience for bodywork. Needs rubbing down again and a bit of filling before the top coat.

Re: Jensen Healey
Had an annoying oil leak onto the exhaust manifold so decided today was the day to cure that and change the cam belt.
Found the exhaust cam oil seal was starting to leak and as I had one changed that as well while we were there.

Thank's Martin.
Spent a few unpleasant hours today changing the N/S engine mounting. An experience I don't want to repeat.

Re: Jensen Healey
Just returned from the Jensen Healey weekend which was a bit eventful for me.
Luckily we were in company with a few other JH owners who all helped out. Thank you . But the fuel pump was u/s so we had to be recovered to Rob Haydon's house who was in the car with me. One quick fuel pump change and we were back in the Hotel in time for dinner with the others.
Cheers Dave

Sorry to read your day didn’t go according to plan Dave but congrats on turning it around and getting back on track in time for dinner. That first pint must’ve tasted good!
