Not so sure about that. I can still remember the fuss when I gave my wife a rubbish bin for her birthday; not sure how a lifesize picture of a pub and a car will go down. Is it to late to commission a picture of a misty meadow at daybreak instead?Everyone will want one

Wow Eddie, that is Fantastic, >>> yes as Paul says, >> I want one, Can I possible buy one from you that is so cool , if you can do one and sell me it I would be so chuffed, >> straight on the wall in the barn for me!Eddie H wrote:I asked the misses what she wanted for her birthday "I nice print for the wall in the back room"
Luckily we have just taken delivery of a new printer at work, they were doing some test prints on it. I suggested that we try printing on some canvas and that I would be kind enough to supply an image.
End result:- Free birthday present / happy misses.
The print is 6ft wide.

Please let me know Eddie?
Many thanks in advance >>

Maybe a $15'000 gold trash can, limited edition (http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gold-garbage-bin" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)? Still, that is asking for trouble.

Of course it was a new bin, I'm not going to give her a used one am I? I'm not stupid...

A few photos from the Classic Cars Magazine group test day.
I would describe it has an experience day that I didn't have to pay for.
It was at Longcross proving ground, there were other things going on such as Mclarens being tested, other photo shoots etc.
All in all a great day with some driving around the track into the bargain.

Re: CEA 1J Earls Court Motorshow Interceptor
I was invited on a photo shoot at Bruntingthorpe airfield back in the spring.
it was organised by a local company that sells all different types of hoses for cars, fuel lines, brake lines etc.
They have sent me a screen shot of how they intend to use some of the images.
A nice bit of free publicity for the Jensen brand I think.

Re: CEA 1J Earls Court Motorshow Interceptor
After a winter of doing cosmetic jobs on CEA, I decided the final job would be to get a gearbox oil leak sorted.
I though I would tap Mr Duncan Watts up (Cannonball) and see if he would have a look for me.
I trailed CEA up to him, leaving her at his place with his assurance she would be well looked after.
Today I picked her up. My car was in his hands, if he had told me it needed a rebuild I would have gone along with his advice. He sorted the leaks and it was just a service with adjustment to the bands in the end, so I was well relieved.
The reality is I think he has swapped my gearbox for a new one, because the adjustments he made have made a first class difference to the driving of CEA.
Into the bargain Duncan showed me round his collection of cars, parts and chopper bikes. He could have taken my money and waved me off, but instead seemed to have all the time in the world to talk vehicles. A legend in the car world in my opinion.
A couple of images below. One on the trailer and the other just for the hell of it. Can't wait to get some more miles on the clock.

CEA doing a bit of motor show work and general showing off at the weekend.
She attracted Andy Fairweather Lows attention.

Re: CEA 1J Earls Court Motorshow Interceptor
Was googling "Jensen Inteceptor" and came across a photo of a pair of Interceptors.
I though I know that car.
It's ended up on the internet, it was the photo shoot for classic cars magazine last year, my car and Lewi and Lisa's car (I think it actually Lisa's)
Anyway turned it into black and white and makes for a good image.
Another one on canvas for the house I think
