What a fantastic picture. It looks a very foreign setting, maybe Cornwall . Does anyone know the location?

Actually, funny you should say that- because there may have been some Healey involvment in this car.

I'm very sorry that I wasn't able to make it. Enjoy!

£310! Too much for me unfortunately, I wasn't expecting the price to be quite that high!

If the buyer is on the forum I'd be very interested in a high resolution scan.

Comparing the press photo with the one in Calver's "All The Models" it seems relatively clear, that the press photo was also taken in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Notice the surrounding wall.

Judging by the shadows it was around midday on a summers day. The wheels seem to be a very dark color, brown or black- certainly not yellow.

It was actually my wife who noticed it.
Don't know if the house still exists and where it is/was.

Richard's grand house from 1958- is definitely still standing, as is the Jensen's childhood home. Anyone remember if Alan's house has been on the market?

How would we know if the house has been on the market if we don't know where it is? (Do you know something we don't Stephen?)

Regards

John

:!:

I see what you mean!

What I was thinking is that Richard's house and the parents' house were mentioned on the Forum when they came up for sale and the details were posted online by an estate agent. If Alan's had also been on sale it would be worth searching for it...

Alan died in Brighton so that's obviously not the property in the pictures.

Alan and Richard Jensen used to live in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

Alan moved on to Wooten Wawen, Warwickshire and then on to Avondale House in Stratford Upon Avon, then Brighton.

Richard went from Edgbaston to Soddington Hall , near Kidderminster.

Had the chance to take pics of BHK there when we last visited in 2011, when the owner was selling for ?1.75 million.

The owner at the time said he knew "Dick" Jensen's son very well.

Last changed hands 2013, asking price £1.25m. Looks rather nice! Some interior pics at http://www.zoopla.co.uk/property-histor ... f/28290703" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. It’s Sodington (one d) by the way.

Lovely House.

Alan Jensen's house in Stratford-Upon-Avon looks like a row house, or is the picture misleading?
