After a few months of 'Running In' had a problem this weekend, the car over heated and lost all its water, so no UJD is off the road, the 'Heads' are off and being inspected, as this just happen for no appetent reason.. Hopefully will be back on the road for the Yorkshire weekend.

The problem was the valve stems were letting to much oil through....

Now back after the Yorkshire Weekend, on Sunday around 2pm when other were making their way home, we went to see family in Bootle, just north of Barrow In Furness, took the short cuit over the Moors, 1.3 hills, which when you climb you have to come down again, narrow roads bends and twists, about an hour and a have journey.. car ran fault less.. The the journey home, when we went a couple of weeks ago it took five and half hours in my pick up, Two fuel stops in the Jensen, ran her down the motorway all the way then on the A1, kept the speed between 65mph and 75mph, a 20 slow moving traffic on the M6, about 20mph, so about 5 hours at a constant high speed, I have to say, that again the journey was faultless so I'm hoping now all is good.

Its a new year and the sun has been shine, took car out for a spin and the world feels a better place straight away.. Then spent some time give the car a clean again, as you do,...

Should have closed the bonnet and rear hatch first.. Oops...
