The bumper on the white one looks lower than Colin's one Dunc and also that all black grill on the white one makes the front look different too.. yet on the JIA the grill and headlights are all black but they sit lower anyway which always helps and with the valance on the JIA ones pulled forward looks good.. but you are right, some look so right and others not .. Colin's changed his steering wheel.. did you notice that Dunc? he used to have a late Mk2 Steering Wheel on there, wonder what he did with that

Re: UJD 9M
After 4 months of forced isolation in a dark but warm garage she was allowed to stretch her legs,
After a hair wash and shower she was ready for a run in the country.. just there and back blow the cobwebs out. Stop and took a couple of photos.. everything happened that should happened when having a stretch..

Re: UJD 9M
I do love these empty roads took UJD for an MOT today, but first filled up at £1.04ltr, which is still £5 Gallon, the only garage that was still doing MOTs for anybody was 8 miles away, shame, please to say UJD plassed with flying colours for another year.
On the way back there's a lovely straight road, no traffic and no cameras,, for two miles gave her a real good clean out,,
Even after 16 years of ownership it still impresses me just how fast these cars go.
When I got home the world seemed a better place, just for those last 15 minutes.
Keep safe everybody

Re: UJD 9M
Well, Use the car, parts need to be replaced.. Last weekend then finished this morning …
Top and Bottom Ball joints both sides,,
Bottom ball joint drivers side was very reluctant to part ways, didn’t have a splitter, so a bigger hammer to shock the joint into surrendering ..
Got that done last Saturday and got the passenger side apart.
So this morning finished replacing the bottom, luckily the top wasn’t much if an issue.
Then new exhaust gasket on the flange…
Just one question though. Is there an easy way of getting the rubber boot on. ?

Re: UJD 9M
Well, I know the car doesn't need to do this but it always worth doing. Another MOT pass.
First show tomorrow, so here's to another summer season of motoring

It's always reassuring to obtain an MOT pass.
They do tend to see areas of the car most of us can't see without a 2 or 4-post lift !
