My 541S passed its TÜV again yesterday (for the next 2 years) - no obstacales anymore to drive from Dresden to Stratford (and back 8) ) in 3 weeks time, 1.300km one way.

Will meet Arne and his blue 541 DL near Folkestone on Friday 1st at 10 am and then drive to Stratford.

Anybody joining us on the way up north via M20, M25 and M40?

Jörg is taking a plane (Weichei), so one seat available.

My C-V8 back on the road again, new TÜV, new front suspension set up and new wheels.

Two of the Rostyles were cracked and I had to change for new wheels. Mathias had 4 Wolfrace wheels handy, so I took these since Rostyles seem to be unattainable. If anyone has a set of good Rostyles please let me know.

4 caps for the Wolrace wheels are also welcome ...

Pictures taken two days ago at Moritzburg Castle close to Dresden.

That picture shows LHD. Was that a conversion from RHD?

Hi Chris,

2432 was converted to LHD in the 80s as far as I know ... Useful here but a bit strange when driving in the UK ...

Neither the small block nor the very small block are mine.

Don't worry Stephen, still playing with the big boys (and the big toys).

The Mustang is just for comparison. I was surprised how heavy and comparably lame it is. And very light at the rear in corners ...

And the Trabbi just stood there on the lawn ...
