Polish Jensen community growing

I am happy to announce that in recent weeks our small Jensen community grew up a little bit by two Interceptors having just arrived from the US to their new (and so far happy) Polish owners.

First of them is the 140/8235 that will be based in a town of Konstancin near Warsaw. Described as a "looking-good-from-two-metre-distance-car" with some rust issues and details missing, resprayed in the US sometime in the past, running nice. The present owner is known to our Polish classic vehicles world as he manages our country's only classic vehicles auction house. His plans are to sort out all known mechanical problems and then use the car as a daily driver with body and respray works postponed to undefined future.

The other car, also imported from the US, is the 140/8730 located in town of Ostrzeszow midway between Wroclaw and Lodz. The owner has just started disassembly and plans to completely restore the car by the end of Summer. The car was a driver but with common Interceptor rust problems.

Adding these two cars makes it 14 known Jensens on our land including:
1. 140/8235 / Konstancin
2. 140/8730 / Ostrzeszow
3. 125/5429 / Lodz
4. 125/5298 / Wroclaw (owned by Adam aka "sadam" - active Forum user)
5. 133/5793 / Krakow
6. 125/5021 / Krakow
7. Int Mk III (can't find the chassis no) / Bielsko
8. unidentified Int Mk III / Warsaw
9. another unidentified Int Mk III / Warsaw
10. unidentified Int (probably Mk III) / Poznan
11. early Interceptor LHD / Krakow
12. "scrapyard find" C-V8 / Lublin
13.-14. at least two unidentified Jensen-Healeys

Good to see, Szymon.

And welcome to the new owners.

It looks like the brown car sits a bit too low at the rear end. New springs needed?

Szymon, if any members need any enquiries made in the UK, and language is a potential barrier, bear in mind that George Zdanko is Polish by birth and knows both languages and cultures. George is very friendly and helpful. Great to see the Polish Jensen group growing.

Paul, great to know that. I had no idea that George "The Solo Bond FF" Zdanko is actually Polish. That surely would help sometime.

Jens, congrats on your new role!!! From now on your visits to Krakow could be considered as business trips, so you could actually demand travel expenses reimbursement from the Committee :)

Definitely, this list needs to be updated. As far as I know there are already over 20 Jensens here. Give me a few days, I'll gather all known chassis numbers and update the list.

Noted. But nonetheless expect a call from me on Sept 15th from some Raststätte (or possibly from Dresden), asking again where it is I'm going to.
