Just saw this section. Been visiting the site for several, years since I bought my 1st convertible ('75).... Now that I also have a '76 Coupe' I'll be checking in more often.
It took over 25 years...but I finally got one!
Just added an original LHD Mk3 CV8 to the garage joining the ‘76 coupe’ and the ‘75 convertible (2711-1968)...so now it is three plus the 50 MGTD,a 65 Sunbeam Tiger and a 62 Daimler SP250

Hi Guys,
Bob in Sarasota FL.
140/5889 MK111 Int 1973 in Black.
Only had it a few weeks. Body work and engine good but having to get it re-wired.
Many admiring looks and comments.

Welcome Bob, and again thanks to all who pop in and announce your ownership...not done much at all to my two units...been very busy in phase nine of my storage facility. Just got rained out after just barely getting the last barn door frame jigged and tack welded. Next is skinning the doors with matching metal, get this done and back to the cars a bit...I think that will about satisfy my building for a bit to come.

I'm a bit late seeing this thread. Ex-Brit living in Huntington, Long Island, NY:

Interceptor Mk III 2210/9495

It had 44K miles when I bought it in 2010. The earliest owner that I know of dates to 1980 so I am at least the 8th owner. This is a photo of me driving the car up our driveway the day it arrived from North Carolina. You can see I am pretty happy!

All the best

I have two interceptors. One is a salon. It has been modified to a six pack car. The other I am in the midst of building. It is a convertible with a roller motor and overdrive tranny. I am trying to define how much alteration I want to do to the original 76 conv.

Here's mine, 133/5832. It's an H Series built in 7/72 and titled as a '73.
Currently located near Daytona, FL.
It spent most of it's life in Southern California and then some more in Utah, so it has very little rust. Interior is very good original. But it currently has a very poorly done paint job on top of some very poorly done body work that kind of lets the car down a bit.
It has 62k miles, and I can tell it's been sitting in a garage for a very long time...most of the mechanical components are leaky from dried up seals.

Tim in Northern California. Currently restoring a 1972 out of Texas after totaling my 1974. The 74 will be a significant interior donor for the 72. Sadly, 2 additional donor cars have come and gone also.
