Post by Keith »

Here's some pics of Stephen Goodall's FF (StevieG on the forum) and an extra bonus this time - a video of the car at Bruntingthorpe:

Wow very very nice FF  , and Bruntingthorpe is perfect for a photo shoot especially with the retired aircraft awaiting stripping. There is a long stretch of the track/runway where you can really push a car and I managed 105 in the 541 before I came to my senses and needed a change of clothing
The Youtube click looks professionally filmed , was it for a feature Keith?

Nice one Stephen, I really regret not taking you up with the Deeb, but knew I couldn't bring myself to possibly kill it on the runway-sure would have looked cool (thats likely why you asked!!)
Came out really well mate.

All in all it was a great day out. It really seemed to take forever to get the car from 100 to 120. With my foot pushing the loud pedal hard to the floor, there was nothing else I could do except will it to go faster! It's never peaceful in the car's cabin, but this time the noise was like nothing else. I've ridden fast on bikes and that can be raucous, but this was different - the air was being squeezed in, so the pitch was at a different level to normal motorway driving. Great fun!
