This is Mark Rivron's Interceptor II.
This was one of the Interceptors on Jensen's stand at the 1970 Earls Court Motor Show
Mark has owned the car for just under a year and has been gradually improving the car, removing the various mark III bits for the superior original parts (sorry, running joke with us mark II owners)
Mark's car was on the JOC Stand at the Bristol Classic Car Show and was runner up for best in show.
The car on the stand at the Bristol show
ex-Jensen Sales Manager Tony Marshall re-united with the car he had on the stand in 1970.

Nice wheels!
Now fitted with period number plates

Fascinating, he should write a book. Ths M5 / CEA story should be in there.Han Kamp wrote:Great car! And good to see Tony with the car, I bet he will have told some interesting stories......

Re: One of the 1970 Motor Show Interceptors
Many of us would like to see a book written by Tony, he is one of the few who knows an abundance of inside stories/secrets not to mention photos. It has been suggested before, but Tony doesn't seem too keen, is that so Mr. Marshall?Trevithick wrote:Fascinating, he should write a book. I for one would order the book without hesitation - I have copies of all Richard Calver's books in both soft and hard cover, Qvale's biography, Keith's books, Blunsden etc, in fact any book about Jensen that I could lay my hands on.
Tony travelled all over the world, knew every Jensen importer, was present at board meetings, has witnessed important decisions being made, knew the factory and most of the employees and staff. There must be a wealth of information being kept hidden from us
So Tony, do us all a big favour !

Tony Marshall is the guest speaker at the Dinner Dance at the International this year.
I think it would be worth the £36 just to hear Tony speak let alone the meal etc.
