J-H bonnet badges

I am looking for a couple of J-H bonnet badges
one to go in its rightful place and one i want to adapt to cover the
hole in the boot lid where the old lock was.

Seen a few on Ebay, Pricing from rediculous to acceptable.

It will be hard to flatten an original bonnet badge for use on the boot. It may be best to bond the badge over the lock and accept the slight, if any, difference in curvature, which will be barely noticeable if at all.
I may have some acceptable original badges and I also have some new replica ones which are not enamelled but painted and I also have some copper/non-plated ones.
Martin Robey sell new bonnet badges for GBP100 plus VAT, excl. shipping and import charges.

A small wing J-badge may be big enough to cover the hole for the lock? They are only GBP53 plus VAT etc. I may have a few of those.
Then there are the wheel centres from the Interceptor which may be considered. Probably also in my boxes.

I can't imagine anyone would pay anything like £100 for a badge.
I would be interested to know what sort of price's you would want
for your various options.The curve of the panel is not A worry i think
i can overcome that if i need to.
