Mk1 P/S Rack 2-piece mounting block

by jrucinski » Wed Oct 11, 2017 5:09 am

Looking for the 2-piece block that secures the right hand side of the Power steering rack on a Mk1 Interceptor. I am retrofitting a P/S rack to my early Mk1. I believe it is of the Adwest variety. The rack is 1-3/4" diameter at the mounting point, and the bolt holes are 2-1/4" center-to-center. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've had the cross member mounting brackets fabricated, so I'm just lacking the RH half-round 'blocks'. Please refer to picture.

Looks like your in luck John!, i've just found these in the magic shed. They must of been there for 20+ years from a Mk1 i used to own with the early Camgears rack. The two long bolts were in the same bag so assume they belong with the blocks, the thread protrudes 3/4". The centre hole is as you say 1 3/4".
