Complete restored blue leather Interior MK3 Interceptor

Post by Martin B »

My 1973 MK3 Interceptor rolling shell was recently destroyed in a fire at the paintshop where it was being painted. This means I have a complete interior, doorcards, seats etc which are now surplus to requirements. I will be posting photo's and wanted JOC members to have the first opportunity to purchase before it goes on to eBay. Ideally I want to sell the whole interior but will if necessary consider selling items in pairs.

Ow wow.. so you're one of the unlucky owners of the shop we saw on fire. Tragic news, hope they are sorting you out financially at least, although that does not cover the time and energy invested in the car most likely. Good luck with the sale, and hopefully you can get your hands on a new project to persue.

Found a Vignale built LHD MK1 in South Africa, Sincar #15, chassis 117/2592.
On a long and winding road to restore it back to original condition.

That's terrible!
Hopefully your loss will be someone's gain with a nice interior.
Do you plan to buy another Jensen to replace your lost one?

Sorry to hear about your car. I would be interested to know more about your blue interior. How complete and price. My car is blue. I was going to have it retrimed in grey. Andy. O7972666421.

Its the usual story of insurance companies fighting it out between them. I suspect I will still be in correspondence with the insurance compaies, and various other authorities like Health and safety police, fire brigade in a years time.

Hi Martin,

What about your interior? Is it still available? What shade of blue is it, and who is the trimmer?

Thank you,
Matthias
