JH bits

Post by JH5speed »

I had a bit of a tidy-up last weekend....

Have a look at the pics. If you fancy anything, PM me and we'll agree a price (won't be expensive - some bits will just be the price of postage). I can provide better pics - just ask. I'm in Bath.

As a guide:
- The cams are standard C-type.
I have the towers too, but they are the non-o-ring-oil-transfer type. You're welcome to have them for the price of postage alone if you want them. I've also got a bare head which needs a total recon (i.e. guide/seats). Again - price of postage if you want it. Loads of valve springs too. I'll be scrapping these otherwise.
- LH Headlamp cowl is new/never fitted (MK1 or cut it down for Mk2). Purchased from Appleyards years ago and been collecting dust ever since.
- Facet pump is the low pressure type (4psi?). I used it for a few miles and then chose to use a new SU instead. It never overran the Dellortos but I was afraid it might and I didn't want to buy a regulator....
- Bushes are the ones that fit on the axle casing. NOS
- Dash piece (under steering wheel) is hard GRP and does not have any fixing brackets. NOS / never fitted
- The SU pumps may be OK, they worked about 30 years ago .... (I'm sure I had the cap for that second one)
- Speaker grilles - I refurbed these in satin black (I think they are original type) but decide to use others.
- Centre console is Mk1 (round side grilles) The panel is re-faced in mahogany veneer.
- The hood cover is torn in a couple of places but may be of use to someone - I reckon I could make it presentable for use, or just use it as a pattern.
- Instruments binnacle is in good condition (no silver bead trim though)
- Interior lock lever (ex Hillman Hunter) including the plastic bezel. Missing a couple of lugs, but salvageable.
- Bonnet latch pieces - OK condition - no centre pin/cone though.
- Window regulator
- Door handles OK - probably slightly better than mine actually, but I cannot really bothered to swap them over ....
... and there are a few other bits.

I think I have some spare door hinges too (somewhere in my shed - didn't get that far last weekend) Probably in the same box as the SU pump cap.

Marc

Hi Marc
Thank you for listing these many good parts👍🏻
I have a GT project, which is being rebuild after a crash 40 years ago. As a result of the crash one cam was broken. Could I perhaps aquire one of yours?
I have never had a hood cover for my JH, so this also has my interest.
The question is of course - will you send it to Denmark🇩🇰 - for my cost?
Cheers,
Niels-Erik

Hi
Do you have a drivers side window regulator. I can’t tell from the photo.
Many thanks

Hi Martyn
I did, but now it’s gone. Sorry.
All the best
