Re: mechanical and electronic Distributor
Hi
I am thinking about switching over to an electronic distributor on my 1971 Mk 2 Interceptor, would your part suit and do you think the change is worth doing?
How much are you asking?
Are there any other parts required to do the swap?
Regards
Richard

Re: mechanical and electronic Distributor
Ignition is the secret to a smooth and powerfull running engine good efficient fuel consumtion. As all electrical part, ignition components wear out over time. What many do not have in view, ignition components must fit together. The internal resistance and voltage drop is extremely important. I would always take a new ignition cable and ignition coil. Contacts or magnetic contacts must of course function without a tattoo. And they have to match the ignition coil and contacts. Then the ignition does a lot more than you often think.
