Looks like a DS5 with Austin thermostat housing, so probably never originally fitted to a 541 variant, although it could be from a PW or Interceptor. This is good in terms of remaining thickness of metal between the head gasket and the cylinder head water jacket as it will not have been skimmed when new to increase the compression ratio. I have seen these offered at over £2000, but more typically they fetch about £400 in unknown condition. To fit a lower compression engine to a 541 it is better these days to seek out different Pistons rather than skimming the cylinder head to achieve the original compression ratio.
