I need to off load some duplicate spares. They will consist of:

2 x Steering wheels (wooden) with horn push, surround and wheel boss. One maybe spoken for. One is highly polished, with the wood restored. Virtually mint. The other is highly polished with new 2 piece wood rim (which needs fettling to finish - basically rubbing down of wood to match the edge of the rim. Both are of the slit spoke design, not hole. Pictures to follow or link to eBay.

Pair of matching Altissimo front indicator lamps, with backs.

Pair of rear matching Altissimo lamp units.Great lenses.

Radio/8 track centre console pods. With metal insert to fit Voxson or Radiomobile push button unit. Can supply both types of radio. I have a Jensen flap for the 8 track.

Automatic gear shift knob (top and housing). Mint, no loss of chrome.

Mint first aid box and contents.

Cibie Marchal matching spot and fog lamps. Mint

Rechromed door handles (pair).

Oh, and a MK2 & 3 rear bumper. No damage, thick metal. Will need a rechrome but you'll struggle to find a better one (if it fits your car)

Unless you want to offer price to buy, I won't be responding to PMs until I've taken pictures and either posted them on here with a £ or put on eBay.

Just thought I'd provide a heads up should anyone be interested. Complete leather interiors (for early and late MK1 Interceptor to follow)

Pictures of each item to follow. Prices are subjective, so I will consider the best price (plus postage) over or under the figure quoted.

There is no damage to the restored wood. The aluminium has been professionally polished, there are some small scratches and marks, but nothing significant in my view. The boss chrome is good. The column length adjuster moves freely. The boss attachment holes line up with the wheel holes. There are a full set of screws with this set. The horn push surround is not dented, but will need re-anodising. The horn push is complete.

Price £675 + / -

There is no damage to the new wood. The aluminium is highly polished, there are some very small scratches and marks, but nothing significant in my view. Good luck finding better. Work to do: carefully sand down the inner edge of the new wood to marry up to the alloy and revarnish.

Will split.

Hi there,

I would be interested in

Altissimo front indicators
a steering wheel (the lighter, refurbished yet not finished one)
a pair of rechromed door handles
and the full leather interior for an early mk1 (depends on state and colour)

I would be very pleased if I could receive some more info and pics of these items to consider.

Thank you very much in advance,
Pablo

If you're looking for the period look on your MK1 Interceptor or FF, I think you will find it hard to beat these matching pair of super rare Cibie Marchal Spot and Fog lights. Unrestored, they're in almost mint condition. No dents, great chrome, glass intact etc. There's some spots on the inside of the glass of the spot lamp, but that's about it.

I've seen some for sale at £190 each with pitted chrome. So I've set the price at £400 + / - for the pair.

I don't think complete First Aid kits come much better than this. No dents or damage to the box - just minimal wear and discolouration. I sold one a while back for £200. This is superior.

£200 + / -

MK1 Interceptor handbook. Used, has greasy fingerprints over some pages and to the edge of pages (I haven't tried to clean them off). Complete though. Would make a great useable one for tinkering.

PAIR NO1

Matching pair of Altissimo front lights. No cracks or damage to any lense. All screws present. I haven't nipped up the screws, so there's a possibility you may need to use thread locker or a different screw in one of the centre attachment points.

Present very well - underside chrome is pitted as shown in the pictures.

(another pair to be advertised later)

PAIR NO2

Pair of Altissimo front lights. No cracks or damage to 3 lenses. One indicator lense has a 2mm crack next to the attachment point, and a small scuff to one edge (which you could rub down and polish out). All screws present.

The chrome on the nearside base is perfect, except that it has a small crack on the underside which has been carefully reinforced on the inside with Araldite. Ditto the indicator housing. I'd happily use this base in one of my cars.

The lenses are OK. They need a serious clean. The ideal would be to mix and match your own lenses to make a uniform colour pair.

£120 + / -

Would consider splitting

Matching pair of LH & RH original Altissimo rear lights. Nice colour to the lenses. Would benefit from a detailed clean and polish. The dome of one indicator lense retaining stud is crazed. There is minor cracking to the dome stud ends on the reversing light lenses. But minor and hard to better with original units. Bases are pitted but more than presentable. Good basis for a rechrome I'd say (all retaining studs to locate to car body present).

So what are they worth? Don't kno

Pair of rechromed MK1 door handles. Good chrome (especially on top face). Present very well despite some uneven chrome finish to the ridged section, some pock marks to the ridged section, and unevenness to the finger recess (but trust me they look better on the car as the imperfections are largely lost in the wider picture - which is what happened to the pair on my FF).

I searched through what must have been a hundred handles to arrive at two suitable pairs for rechroming. These are my spare pair.

I believe I have the pin and spring etc to make up the handle (but best assume you'll need to use yours at this stage). Hence why the handle insert is at an angle in the photos.

Smears on the chrome is the result of Vaseline (for storage purposes).

Gearknob, with grub screw and perfect chrome button.

Thought I had a spare for my own use, but this seems to be the only one I can find. Mint.
