Jensen interceptor MK3 Breaking for spares

Post by Jenny coupe »

Hello my fellow Jensen owners, I have recently joined the JOC on behalf of my brother and I as proud owners of a Jensen Interceptor Coupe 1976.

She has covered approx 96k and had a full restoration in the late eighties when owned by our Dad... well he's owned her since 1976! Even so after a full restore (original Nevis Blue) paint job, the interior may need a possible re-colouring, but, overall she goes well! Hence read the following...

Anyway back to the subject we also have a Jensen Interceptor MK3 which we intend to break. The car has only covered 36k but has been sat outside under a cover for around 25 years... The beige interior was stored in a sealed container and is in very good condition i.e no rips or scuffs. The engine and gearbox however is now claimed as a project to fit a 'SIX  PACK' (any available :?: )

We also have a good few other parts including full a/c system, badges, steering wheel etc. Just let me know what you need, especially if you have a spare SIX PACK lying around. Happy to post worldwide.

Ryan & Stuart.

Hi,
I am looking for louvred bonnet and a good front bumper for my MKIII
And I think I know where a six pack is, but it is brand new unused with orange air filter etc. The guy who had it was willing to part with it about 12 months ago for about xxx£1600 but I would obviously have to find out if this is still the case.
Let me know if this is of interest and or if you have bits for me.
Cheers

Is the chassis any good on your car you are breaking? I'm after one with good floors etc but don't want the body. Thanks.

I have the mobile number of Ryan the vendor. I was after the front slam panel for my Mk I but it has been removed. This suggests that the vehicle is in the advanced stages of deconstruction.

If you would like the number PM me. He is a stone's throw away from me in Wolverhampton.

shell

Post by Travelling Wilbury »

towed my trailer all the way to wolverhampton to collect a supposedly good shell to find one that was completely f###ed no front panels no n/s wing and every other panel either very bent or rusted away did not need trailer as i could have folded the shell up and put in the boot, looks like it picked a fight with a tank and lost, engine in bits and parts spread out everywhere over the floor but interior is ok so not a complete waste of a journey, as i got a few other bits while there but very expensive parts
their coupe is nice (but not outstanding) if you like coupes
