February - Guess who this belongs to!
No points for guessing who this C-V8 belongs to!
This is Jens Jansen's C-V8 mark III, 112/2342.
Jens purchased the car in 2005. It was originally a RHD car that was converted to LHD quite some time ago.
He uses the car as one of his daily drivers, together with the 541S and MGB (which he has owned for 22 years now). He has done more than 25.000 miles with the car, trips around Europe, reliabilities, N?rburgring and other nonsense (his words!)..
The car was bought because he needed a proper wedding car and he was originally looking for an Interceptor. But then he saw a picture of a C-V8 for the first time and immediately knew that was what he wanted. He prefers the Mk III because of its nicer front design.
The C-V8 in its dress for Jens and Caroline's wedding in May 2006 in Merano, Italy.

At 1,600 meters during "Rossfeld Historic" 2007 close to Berchtesgaden in the German Alps.
Gorillas in the mist, together with Klaus Steffen's MkII during Bayerwald Classic 2008, close to the Czech border
during "Saar-Lor-Lux" Classic 2008 somewhere in France
during "Langenburg Historic" 2009 after some muddy trials.
The interior is customized, the door panels and the facia are made of South African Yellowwood veneer, this was done during the coversion from RHD to LHD.

Barrie,
I have no idea, I bought the car as it is.
I think it is a one-of, so probably anyone else in the Club has more
information from the past ...

When we bought this car years ago someone started the restauration here in Holland and he was a carpenter [ didn't like the formica dash] so started with the dash,he bought the car somewhere in Germany .the LHD conversion was done there.
the Car was in primer and a non runner in those days, another compagny did the builtl up here in Holland for the Dutch owner who bought it from us.
