26th June Meeting / Events Diary

Post by SRS2000 »

Hi Northwest JOC – As we come up to the summer season we have a busy list of events to fit in the coming months…
26th June our Monthly Meeting can be a choice, this can be either at The Romper as normal or I’m going to Towneley Hall Park Burnley that day for the Burnley Rotary Club Classic car show. If you’ve not been before it's a large open space park with historic house gardens, café and tea rooms. It’s in aid of Charity @ £5 per car, if there’s enough interest I can see if we have a club stand area? Here’s the web site please let me know if you’re up for it …

Lymm Transport Festival is also on the same day 26th but I’ve checked and it’s already fully booked!

Next up Steve Makin has kindly offered to hold our summer BBQ it his place in Leigh hence we need to set a date and get some goodies organised with suggested dates in July pls ?

Next Manchester Airport's Wings and Wheels event takes place the weekend 16th to 17th July, best of all its free with your classic Jensen and again if there's enough of us a club stand ? Again anyone interested pls let us know.

Mark Maniatt as also put a note on the JOC forum re Newby Hall Show on the 17th July , he’s looking a big 50th anniversary turn out as possible, hence if were doing Manchester Airport it would have to be the Saturday the 16th Pls let Mark know if you would like a ticket.

Events happing this weekend are Woodvale Southport Show 18th / 19th July and the Lakeland Classic Show Grasmere on the 19th July, a bit late to book just in case you’re looking for a ride out (weathers not looking too good esp Sunday).

Cheers all for now pls get in touch with any input to either Paul or myself. Regs Steve R

Can't these be put on the events schedule as open to all JOC members?

Personal quest: all area JOC events are available to all JOC members? Locally organised but open to all.

Area Co-ordinator to assist perhaps?
