JOC open day, Matlock, Sunday 17th April

Post by AlistairT »

Hi all, I will be attending the open day on the 17th, anyone else fancy going? . It would be a couple of hours drive for, me so a good opportunity to make sure the old girl is in fine fettle for the following weekend, Drive it Day. cheers Alistair.

Hi Alistair I'm looking to go, last years event was excellent, if the weather's kind its a great day out. It's a nice drive if we go A6 Matlock / Buxton way ? Don't know if any one else from our area's going perhaps we could all meet for the drive down ? I'm trying to get the Mk1 a little smarter but Genghis is still very much a work in progress. Radio panel ready to go back in + new manifolds and heat shield......Cheers Steve R

Hello Alistair,

As you will remember when we were last at The Romper I made the commitment to do this, unfortunately my 'old girl' is playing up. It has developed a habit of cutting out. I have posted the issue in the Technical section and hope a solution can be found soon. Since we are now Friday and event is Sunday I doubt if we will be going, certainly not in the Jensen!!!

regards

David
