Worthwhile adding that the car is a MkI CV8, can't quite read the complete registration number which looks like it ends 636A. Anyone with a bible like to play Poirot and find some more details?

Been through it Mike,

All of the Mk 1 cars were 1962- 1963 and were all on pre suffix plates..

I'm guessing this is a 1963 plated car ( hence the A suffix )

so its been part of a number transfer...
